Oftentimes, regardless of how care is given, it comes out of love. That doesn’t mean we receive it as such. The care of a parent at the wrong time can be perceived as the complete opposite.
What’s important to remember when giving care is to give it on the terms of the receiver. That’s the only way it can ever be taken.
